⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ask for Gary Nelson at David Scott Lee Buick GMC in Crestview! We were looking for a vehicle for our daughter who was turning 16 on August 6th. I had done a TON of research and narrowed it down to five vehicles. I've purchased more than 20 cars in my lifetime and helped countless friends and family buy vehicles, so I definitely do my homework. Our daughter's first choice was a Ford Bronco Sport, but after considering the price and insurance for a 16-year-old, we decided to keep looking. While visiting another dealership, we unexpectedly came across a Buick Envista. Our daughter LOVED it! I actually joked with the salesperson, "Who would've thought a 16-year-old would want a Buick?" When I thought of Buick, I thought of my grandmother! 😂 But I had to admit, the new Envista was sharp. After researching them, I quickly discovered that black-on-black Envistas were extremely hard to find. That's when I called David Scott Lee Buick GMC and spoke with Gary Nelson. Gary was straightforward from the beginning. He told me he'd love to sell us the Envista, but they couldn't keep them on the lot. I called dealerships within a 200-mile radius and found out he was absolutely right. Gary then suggested a black-on-black Buick Encore GX ST they had in stock that was fully loaded. We brought our daughter to Crestview to look at it and she instantly fell in love with it. Of course, we told her, "Your mom and I will think about it." Meanwhile, I was secretly working out the deal with Gary! Here's what really impressed me: I compared their pricing with six other dealerships, some as far away as Tampa. David Scott Lee had the best price I could find within roughly 250 miles. Other dealers actually told me, "If you can buy that car for that price, buy it today." So that's exactly what we did. We live about an hour away and I didn't want to spend hours sitting in a dealership or finance office. Gary and his finance manager handled virtually everything with us by phone, text and email. It was one of the easiest vehicle purchases I've made. We waited until three days before our daughter's birthday to pick it up while letting her believe we were still deciding. 😂 When we arrived, Gary had everything ready. The Encore GX ST was clean, fueled, tagged and registered. He walked us through the vehicle, helped set up OnStar and the mobile app, explained the features, and did a complete walk-around. After buying more than 20 vehicles, I know the difference between someone trying to sell you a car and someone trying to earn your business. Gary Nelson earned ours. He followed up without bugging us, answered every question, respected that I had done my research, and helped us give our daughter an incredible 16th birthday surprise while staying within our budget. Jeremy was great. From the time I arrived until the time I left. Great service. My only comment about getting the car washed after service, please dry it or not wash it. It left spots all over the car.

Very nice Dealership. Pleasant people to be around and helpful in every way they could be. Karsun is the kindest man with all the answers to anything I ask. He went out of his way to help me get my deceased husbands hand made trailer hitch off my old truck. It had rusted after 22 years but he managed to get it for me. I will return to DSL Automotive for all my GMC maintenance needs.
