The Updated myGMC App

GMC’s myGMC mobile app allows you to use your phone or tablet to interact with your GMC vehicle from wherever you are. It gives you access to a selection of useful remote features, and the latest round of updates also provides you with insight into your vehicle's health and status. The recent updates include a refreshed home screen that features an image of your vehicle followed by three icons that give you quick access to the most-used myGMC features:

• Remote Start: Start or stop your vehicle with the tap of a button.
• Remote Lock: Lock or unlock your vehicle no matter where you are, so long as you have your phone, you have a digital key and access to your vehicle.
• Sound the Horn: Useful for looking for your vehicle in a crowded parking lot.

Family Sharing

Following these easy-access buttons is a “View More” icon that will allow you to use other myGMC features, including the family-sharing function. The family-sharing function allows you to add up to eight family members to your vehicle, authorizing them to receive information about your vehicle and use select remote functions. They will be able to set up a personal myGMC login on their mobile device or add your vehicle to an existing account. They will then be able to access the primary remote functions listed as well as your Vehicle location.

Vehicle Health and Status

The update also allows you to check your vehicle status from your mobile device. You can receive timely health updates, notifications about your vehicle's next factory scheduled maintenance, fuel status, tire pressure, and EV notifications about charging and battery status.
