The 2024 Acadia has undergone a significant transformation compared to its 2023 model. The AT4 trim is built for off-road enthusiasts, featuring an off-road-tuned suspension, active torque control, and a traction select system with various terrain modes. With a max towing capacity of 5,000 pounds, the Acadia is ready to haul campers, boats, and other large loads.
Additionally, the 2024 Acadia now offers SuperCruise™, General Motors’ hands-free driver-assistance system with automatic lane-changing capabilities, making long drives or highway trips more relaxed and safer.
By contrast, the 2023 Acadia has two capable engines equipped with a nine-speed automatic transmission. The base engine is a 228-horsepower turbocharged 2.9-liter 4-cylinder engine with 258 lb-ft of torque, and the available engine is a 3.6-liter V6 engine that generates 310 horsepower and 271 lb-ft of torque. Also standard on the Acadia is a front-wheel drive, but all-wheel drive is available on select trims.
