The GMC Sierra 1500 offers an array of powerful engine options, a smooth ride, and a spacious and quiet cabin. The 2022 Sierra 1500 arrives in showrooms with several updates, including an all-new, modern interior, an enhanced exterior design, along with a larger infotainment touchscreen. Additionally, there’s a new 2.7-liter turbo high-output engine and an all-new AT4X trim.
The RAM 1500 features a well-appointed cabin, roomy and comfortable seats, excellent towing and hauling capabilities, and composed handling. The 2022 RAM 1500 hits the road with several updates. Those updates include a new RAM 1500 10th Anniversary Edition, a new Longhorn SouthFork model, which replaces the Limited Longhorn 10th Anniversary, a GT package for the Lamare and Rebel models, a Uconnect 5 system that is now standard on Big Horn models and above, a trailer hitch light that is now included in the Trailer Tow Group, a now-standard RAM clean air system, and a new BackCountry model.
The 2022 GMC Sierra 1500’s interior features a cockpit-oriented instrument panel in addition to a more functional center console. Additional features include a 13.4-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 15-inch multicolor head-up display, a sunroof, bucket seats, a power-adjustable steering column, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay®, electronic precision shift, and more.
The 2022 RAM 1500’s cabin centers around either a standard 5-inch or available 8.4-inch or 12-inch infotainment touchscreen. Available entertainment and technological features include high-definition radio, navigation, USB ports, wireless device charging, a Wi-Fi hotspot, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay®, a sunroof, and more. The RAM 1500 can seat up to six people.
The Sierra 1500 arrives with four different engines: a base turbocharged 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine with 310 horsepower, a 355-horsepower 5.3-liter V8 engine, a 420-horsepower 6.2-liter V8 engine, and a 3.0-liter inline-six turbocharged diesel engine that produces 277 horsepower. The inline-four engine comes with an eight-speed automatic, while all other engines come with a 10-speed automatic.
The RAM 1500 provides four engines: a 3.6-liter V6, which generates 305 horsepower, a 3.0-liter diesel V6, which produces 260 horsepower, a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 with variable-valve timing that pumps out 395 horsepower, and a 5.7-liter eTorque Hemi V8 with VVT. The RAM 1500 has a maximum payload of 2,300 pounds and a maximum trailer load of 12,750 pounds.
The Sierra 1500 comes with several safety features, including forward-collision warning, automated emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and more.
