The 2022 GMC Acadia received a few changes heading into the new year, including the removal of the SL trim and the removal of the 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine, which was replaced with a turbocharged 2.0-liter. In addition, several once optional drive assistance features are now standard, including lane keeping assist, blind spot monitoring, and automated emergency braking.
The three-row Acadia is crafted for class and comfort with a spacious cabin that features quality craftsmanship with versatile seating and cargo options. The Acadia is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder and an optional 3.6-liter.
GMC offers the Acadia in various trims, including the SLE and SLT, the AT4, and the Denali. The Acadia also comes with the Elevation package and Denali Ultimate package.

The modern and well-crafted three-row Acadia cabin is spacious thanks to versatile seating and multiple storage options. The Acadia boasts of smart slide second-row seats that provide easy third-row access. Third row 50/50 split seats fold flat for extra cargo storage. There is an abundance of storage with a second-row stage drawer in the rear of the center console, under-the-floor cargo area storage, and spacious under-console storage. The Acadia seats up to seven people.
The Acadia boasts of unique lighting features that include standard LED headlamps and taillamps with GMC’s signature C-shape design, LED daytime running lights, and several wheel options. The Elevation and Denali Ultimate packages alter the Acadia’s exterior with black grille inserts, black mirror endcaps, black wheels, available black GMC emblems, all terrain tires, and gloss-black roof rails.
The base Acadia’s engine is a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that generates 228 horsepower. You can choose an optional 310-horsepower 3.6-liter V6 engine. A nine-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive are standard in the Acadia. An adaptive suspension (standard on the Denali and optional of the SLT with all-wheel drive) helps smooth out the ride over rough roads.
